Unagi madness

See, im really crazy about japanese food - sushi, BBQ, tenppanyaki, shabu shabu and etc etc. i ♥ them all!! it probably is because of the influence of my ex whos step dad was a japanese guy. his mom was a dedicated woman whos all about making sure that her man is comfortable and at ease at the end of a long day at work. this, i believe, is what a woman should do. make your man look forward to seeing you after the end of a long work day. just like how i used to look forward to seeing him after work everyday and vice versa. i just knew he'd be with me through it all.

And that crazy influence from Elaine (sushi tei lover, die hard fan) who always seem to have our dinner dates at sushi tei! haha! but pity i aint a Unagi fan.

This people - below - for unagi lovers (like my brothers jonathan and jeremy, vic, elaine and many more) is the epitome of love for unagi:-

A new beverage from Japan Tobacco Beverage says skip the eel altogether and instead go for a bottle of “Unagi Nobori,” a carbonated beverage combining vitamins and “eel extract” with a “refreshing flavor” to beat the summer swelter.

The packaging evokes a traditional unagi vendor, though a ¥147 a bottle the price is significantly less than the real thing.

How cool is this?! (: i would love to be able to try one. although frankly speaking im super afraid of how my taste buds will deal with it! haha. i cant even take things like flavoured water. i dont know - i jus thought that anything flavoured should be gassy. leave water to be water guys! lets not get started on the sparkling water issue there.

Sigh! the trip to Japan still eludes me. i need to find a sugar daddy, or mummy! whichever.. anyone? :P
